Travelling with a Group from Australia can 18+ allowed in and not drink booze?
AWESOME TIME!
WENT ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND HAD AN AWESOME TIME! THE VIEW IS GREAT AND THE OPEN AIR FLOOR SPACE IS FANTASTICALLY REFRESHING. IT GOT BUSY AROUND MIDNIGHT. ALMOST EVERY GUY I MET WAS ACTUALLY STAYING AT THE WAIKIKI GRAND WHICH IS THE HOTEL ABOVE THE BAR. I HAVE WENT TO 4 OTHER BARS AND HULA'S WAS THE OVERALL BEST IN MY OPINION... CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF
Not Impressed At All !!!!!!!!
I went on vacation in June 2010 to Waikiki. I discovered Hula's in a local gay bar guide out of Waikiki and decided to check it out. About ten people in the bar total on a friday evening and all ten of them, noticeably locals, were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. A nice view is about all this hole has to offer.Trust me, go to any other place.
fantastic and in paradise
Coming from the East Coast, this place is like paradise (actually all of HI is :)). I love the open air part of it all. Music is great too! I've always had a great time while visiting the island!
What happened?
Having been to Hula's many times over the years, we were disappointed during this visit. Friday happy hour hosted 11 patrons not including us. Where is everyone for happy hour? Lee is always the best. We were not impressed by the shirtless, beachboy server. He was clueless.
