Located in Kapiolani Park at the end of Waikiki, towards Diamond Head. It's easy to find - just enter the park from Waikiki and walk along the beach. The Beach House Snack Bar is a good landmark to look for. This is not a nude beach.

Still gays hereWent several times while on vacation in December. Saw about a 50 to 70% gay population on the beach or grass. Not crowded at all this time of year. Had many a swim from this beach. Look forward to going here again when we return next year. With a surfboard! -

Not that good anymorevisit every year and this used to be a hot beach with hot guys and in the bathroom/changing area i occassionally saw guys playing but not anymore. It's mostly str8 and LOTS of homeless tents there now. Wouldn't waste my time. Usually end up at the beach under the lighthouse. It's considered the nude beach but that's not really the case anymore either. Occasionally you'll see a guy nude but for most part it's either speedo's, beach shorts or thongs. Some areas you can still cruise and hook up but be careful because lots of str8's and families are starting to go there. -

Not like years past.I first knew of this place when I moved to Hawaii in the mid 70's. It was at that time filled with gay men and friends of gays. Today it is almost too hard to tell. Back then it was an everyday event to sun, hit a bar on Kapahulu called the Blow Hole. For me Honolulu was more exciting for gays in the 70's & Early 80's . The whole scene was more lively, now everything like Queens surf has seemed to assimilated which may not be a bad thing but just seems washed out. -
