Very, very small
This bar was recommended to me. I could not find it easily, since it is so small and tucked away. I was intimidated by the regulars, most of whom could not sing. The drink prices were OK to high. It was clean and decorated cleverly, but much too small for me. Large groups, don't go.
Small But VERY Friendly, Big Hearted
In March 2010 i spent 10 days in Honolulu at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, which, btw, was a very nice hotel. Just behind the hotel is a really friendly gay bar which specializes in karaoke. I'm not a great singer but I had a lot of fun trying and the other people including the owners could not have been more supportive. Going to this bar was more like going to a friends house for a party in the living room. And there were surprises all the time. On some nights there were actually really talented people singing, some local, some from all over the States. On some nights there was fee food. I remember especially one night when the young owner made waffels for eveyone using a special local recipe. It was great. So this place although small has a BIG Heart! (Also Big drinks!) Go there and enjoy!
Waikiki's newest gay Karaoke Bar
Small fun little bar in the middle of Waikiki. Staff is super frendly which makes for a fun atmosphire. Bar is in odd location which makes it a little hard to find, next to Kings Village behind the Hyatt.
