A great place for families

This hyatt is definitely grand. Since no building can be over 4 stories tall anymore in Hawaii the hotel built out with building cascading outwards from the lobby. Rooms are well appointed and ocean view rooms abound. The restaurants on site will do in a pinch but better dining can be found in the surrounding towns. The central lobby houses and alcove with a coffee shop and sunrise views by morning and bar and live music with sunset views by night. A faux beach lagoon just inland from the real one is a great place for kids to swim but the resort features full scale pool and slide, friendly staff and a pretty fantastic spa with outdoor bungalows that mange to be open but offer total privacy. Lots of kids and families populate the hotel.

A great place for a honeymoon!

I just went there for my honeymoon and had an amazing trip! They treated us great giving us a free cabana rental, dessert with our dinner there and other perks. The staff, grounds, rooms and who experience is just wonderful. Gay honeymooners...if you are heading to Kauai...this is the place to go!

Spoil your mate!

This is a place that when you dream of Hawaii this is where you want to be. The staff is so incredibly friendly and the room staff is incredible to where you hope to be invited out to have pu pu platters with them and their friends! The restaurants are great and the Island of Kauai is so magical. Jurrasic Park was filmed there. North shore is sooo cool! The Resort has everything you want or need!!!! THe concierge will help you plan excursions by boat/plane or helicopter or renting a car. Now go visit!!
