Donkey Beach (Paliku)

(10 Ratings)
Secluded, white-sand beach
Traveling north from the airport on Highway 56, past Kapaa, drive 1/3 of a mile past mile marker #11. You should see cars parked along the road. Hike down the cane road. As you near the ocean, stay left and climb over to the beach. The far end is the gay area. Trees surround the beach if you need to take a break from the sun. Note: This once had a reputation of being a nude beach, but law enforcement has cracked down on this, so use caution. Also, be wary of leaving valuables in your car.

Awesome

So here's the update although it's says cruzie it is on Kauai and it's paradise especially for the millions that visit not to mention us locals with that said don't expect to get laid first time round and for gods sake wait till dark , the tourists will have all gone back to their hotels and the fun can begin. Me and my honey were down there to bring in the new super moon and super it was.. We had a good time just us 2 but could have been more exciting had someone wandered by and joined in . Just keep it clean and keep it at night. Be cool it's safe and fun

not a gay beach

Not a gay beach. There were however families, older straight couples and plenty of local surfers and bodyboarders. No nudism at all. Still a really nice beach, and good to keep an eye out for whales!

questionable...

Several people running around nearby, security truck stopped and watched us walk across the road... only spotted one gay person that was hanging around the rest rooms... no one on the beach.. not sure this is a good idea or even the spot to go...

Beautiful Beach

Usually pretty deserted. Be aware of the tides as it tends to get pretty rough. You have to walk down a trail, not a very steep one. Visitors should be aware that sometimes cars get broken into in the parking area as it is far from the beach and cant see it once you walk down.

Donkey beach

I so wanted to see some skin. But the only skin i saw was a tiny child who stripped down and tried to run away from its mom. Its a nice beach just not a nude or nude-ish beach. Lots of famlies and peope runnig and on bikes
