Small bar with friendly staff
I went to this place three times over my trip to Hawaii. the bartenders were attractive and friendly but the place was dead every time I went and the drinks were on the higher end of the price range.
Friendly bar mostly
Our first impression of this place was wrong - they rudly ordered us off the deck friday night 'everybody off the deck, it's closed'. Went back sunday at 2pm and recieved warm reception and friendly atmosphere from the 4 customers. The fries where plain but good. The wings to go where great. A problematic customer was handled professionally. Great job! This place has a great view of the street and I wouldnt hesitate to go back here.
awesome bar
this is a great bar, if your gay and into sports, if your not into sports still a fun place, cute bartenders, freindly, and great music videos and dancing on the weekends!
Waste of time
The Bar is centrally located, easy to find, but very small. The dance floor lacks creative lighting and has an entrance way which aloows patrons to enter right onto the dance floor (stupid) Bartender was very flirty with everyone which I didn't mind until we tried to order our drinks. We went 3 times and each time the atmosphere was the same. "Not Stoked for sure!" Skip It for sure
waste of time and money
Three of us went here last night to see the 'Best Buns and Chest Contest' listed in Odyssey magazine. The bartender was very nice, handing us tickets for free give-away items that were going to happen later in the evening. The MC, Freddie Jordan, then came on and for almost an hour rambled on NON-STOP about the most inane crap, ranging from Nelly Furtado to Cher on David Letterman before finally calling out numbers for a free t-shirt. Then the MC went around the bar of 20 patrons (3 of which were women) asking for volunteers to join the contest. When we refused he then made some comment about how we were there to watch but not participate. Sorry, but we were not there to dance around half-naked for his enjoyment or for the lousy $50 in bar drinks he was offering. After the few guys had shown off their chests and buns, we decided to leave...at this point the MC shouted at us, "yeah, get out, you're too ugly to be here." First of all, this is no way to treat customers, either by being pissed off because they didn't want to join your contest or because they didn't want to stay to watch the rest of the rather bad show (and it wasn't so much the guys on stage that made it bad, but rather the MC). Secondly, if we were so ugly why was he begging us to participate in the show to begin with? Obviously he thought we were good-looking enough before we said 'no' to him. Finally, why bother pissing off your customers who were spending money on expensive, yet weak, drinks? I will never go back and recommend this place either get new management or close its doors. One star for the bartender who was at least nice.
